LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hi there & welcome to the Gamma Tau chapter of Delta Gamma! Go Horned Frogs!

Our Gamma Tau chapter is home to over 300 members that truly embody our motto “Do Good.” Whether it's through serving the community, striving for academic success, or being involved on campus, our members fully embrace a Do Good mentality on a daily basis. It is the values of friendship, belonging, and support in which I personally found the strongest and most caring sisterhood I could have hoped for!

The Gamma Tau chapter is incredibly diverse in academic pursuits, personal interests, and personalities. Our chapter is broadly talented, high-achieving, and involved in many on and off campus endeavors; whether it be intramural or NCAA sports, the TCU Cheer Team and Showgirls, academic honors societies, or student organizations, we love getting involved.

Gamma Tau also enjoys volunteering in both our local community and on a national level. Locally, we send care packages to our troops, serve in a local nursing home, and volunteer with the visually impaired. Nationally, our main focus is working to raise awareness and funds for Delta Gamma’s national philanthropy, Service for Sight. Annually, we put on an event in the fall called Anchorbowl, which is a flag football tournament benefitting our philanthropy; weekly, we help a local church create Braille Bibles that go on to be distributed to blind people across the country. To us, doing good means helping others, and we as a chapter take great pride in being able to fundraise and support those in need.

Gamma Tau has been awarded the Financial Responsibility and Excellence Award at the 2018 DG National Convention and the Patricia Peterson Daniels Award, signifying excellence in demonstrating Delta Gamma's 12 Fraternity Standards.

Regardless of where you soon call home, we hope that you find a sense of belonging, where your sisters become your family and encourage you to be your best self. Delta Gamma makes me proud every single day, as I watch sisters celebrate each other, laugh with each other, and love each other. I could not be more excited and honored to lead this remarkable group of young women, of whom I am confident will go on to be huge lights in this world.

Take Care,
